Uni-Bigband Halle will kick off the 20th Händel-Haus Jazz Summer with this open-air evening in the courtyard of the Händel-Haus.
Under the direction of Michael Lieb, the Big Band presents a varied programme: jazz meets pop, soul and funk. Well-known tracks feature alongside new arrangements from the band’s own repertoire. Look forward to the ensemble’s infectious enthusiasm and rousing solos. Berlin-based singer Sophia Euskirchen will be performing with the University Big Band for the first time as a special guest. She is known for her work in musical and theatre productions at the Tipi am Kanzleramt, the Bad Hersfeld Festival and the Magdeburg Theatre, amongst others. Her voice adds a powerful touch to the big band sound. Don’t miss out on this unique cocktail of energy!

Tickets: Advance tickets are available online and at the museum ticket office. If the weather is fine, additional tickets will be released on the day of the concert from 5 pm. Advance sales start on 16 June 2026.
