To kick off the 19th Jazz Summer in the Händel-Haus courtyard, we can look forward to the legendary Halle band Slowhand in a new line-up. Slowhand now features Lena Zipp on the microphone, sharing this task with keyboardist Uli Heiser. A harmonica played magnificently by Thomas Schied is also part of the new image. There will be plenty of New Orleans, with the famous blend of blues, jazz and soul and a few more rock sounds. Lots of new things - but without forgetting the character and what you know and love about the band - Soul and fun playing and improvising: So keep it up ‘Slowhand’!
