Max Diller and his talented ensemble in an unusual line-up of trumpet, saxophones, bass clarinets, flute, bass and drums are inspired by the concept of "Solastalgia" by the philosopher Glenn Albrecht and embark on a musical journey of the soul. They explore the deep emotions and sense of loss that arise when we become aware of the irreversible changes to our environment caused by human influence. They paint a vivid picture of the impact of global crisis and societal change on our collective human experience and the transformative power it has on emerging cultures. With poignant compositions such as "After the Rain", "Sun Dance" and "Wind", their songs transport us into a world of heartfelt and melancholic moods. They invite you to pause, reflect on the past and be open to new perspectives.
