7th organ walking tour

On 31 October 2024, the day of the Reformation, Halle's city centre is inviting visitors to the popular Organ Walking Tour for the 7th time.

Concert on the organ by Johann Gottlieb Mauer from 1770

Organ: Dr Stefan Nusser, lecturer at the Halle (Saale) University of Church Music

Spiritual impulse: Pastor Sven Hanson (Director of the Central German Bible Centre and the Canstein Bible Centre in Halle)

Venue: Handel House, Glass Hall

In cooperation with the Protestant University of Church Music

Starting with a carillon at 3.00 pm on Halle's market square, there will again be two routes, which you can also put together individually. The Handel House Foundation will also be taking part in the organ walking tour in its proven co-operation with the Protestant University of Church Music. In the Glass Hall, you can listen to the Johann Gottlieb Mauer organ (Tegkwitz 1770) at 3.30 pm - with limited seating capacity and free admission. Dr Stefan Nusser, lecturer at the Hochschule für Kirchenmusik Halle (Saale), will be playing. Pastor Sven Hanson, director of the Mitteldeutsches Bibelwerk and the Canstein Bible Centre in Halle, will provide a spiritual impulse.
