Nature has always been a source of inspiration – and in music especially so. Many composers have written works about trees and flowers, making them blossom in a whole new way through their music. And what more suitable place to enjoy this musical magic than the Botanical Garden? With works for mixed choir and wind ensemble, a picnic amid the greenery and a guided tour of the wealth of plants in the gardens, the Halle University Choir, Pfeiferstuhl Music Halle and the Botanical Garden team have delighted festival visitors since 2006.
