This concert will bring back memories of Cangemis acclaimed appearances in the world’s great opera houses – Vienna, Munich, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, London and many more – and not least at the Handel Festival in Halle. She made her debut here in 1997 as Dalinda in Handel’s opera Ariodante in the Goethe Theatre in Bad Lauchstädt with Les Musiciens du Louvre conducted by Marc Minkowski, and has returned on several occasions. She will be supported by great musicians from La Cetra Barockorchester Basel conducted by none other than the recipient of the 2021 Handel Prize, Andrea Marcon. A magnificent event awaits us!
