The City Museum opens for an exclusive and unprecedented evening: the first fashion party ever to be held here! A queer fashion show, Baroque outfits, beats by Berlin-based multi-instrumentalist and DJ M.RUX and an electrifying cosmos of sound from VERONIKA FERRARI & DIE FLAMMEN. The ensemble melds popular hits, classical music and jazz and club culture – performed with an extraordinary mix of vocals, jazz trumpet, clarinet, keyboard and electronic music. Professor Christian Wolff, the master of what is now the City Museum 350 years ago, would appreciate the colourful activity in his house. He loved social get-togethers and regularly opened his house to students, scholars and other guests, with invitations to stimulating conversation and boisterous socialising. Inspired by the spirit of openness and community of that time, we’ll be transforming the City Museum into a place of diversity where all kinds of people can meet, be themselves – and above all, celebrate! A creative interplay of fashion, music and culture at the crossroads of past and present. So, grab your masks and fans or come just as you are. Together, we’ll twirl the evening away – proud, loud and Baroque!
