In Handel veritas – music and wine for (H)all(e)

Music and wine bring people together in the city centre: with In Händel Veritas – Musik und Wein für (H)alle (“In Handel veritas – music and wine for (H)all(e)”), Halle’s Marktplatz will for three days be transformed into a bustling festival site. On the stage outside the Marktkirche, choirs, bands and ensembles from Halle and the surrounding region will perform music ranging from Baroque to jazz and pop. With readings, talk events and other highlights, the weekend is an arts festival open to all. Local winegrowers will also be present, inviting festival-goers to take time out and taste their wines. Musical enjoyment, hospitality, tradition and modernity come together for a musical and culinary weekend that the epicure Handel would have appreciated.
