Handel’s reputation as an organist and improviser was legendary. But his rare organ compositions reflect little of this. On the other hand, arrangements for the organ of other works by Handel are extremely popular. Stefano Barberino, lecturer at the neighbouring University of Sacred Music performs on the Johann Gottlieb Mauer organ.
