The aim of this concert is to initiate children into the world of sound of Baroque music. And what better way than by getting their peers to perform the music? The title could simply read: kids play music for kids. In this major project, the first of its kind, the Göttingen and Halle Handel Festivals have got together and with children/teenagers drawn up a concert programme featuring various approaches to music. Interactive elements will add to the audience’s musical impressions. The concert will be held in Duderstadt in May and in Halle in June. The classic Fireworks and Water Music, which could almost have been written for children, of course also feature.
