City Walk: City Heroes

In cooperation with the Musicology Department of Martin Luther Universität Halle-Wittenberg, the concert collective godot complex has devised a concert-cum-walking tour to three different venues in the city. In a workshop aimed at developing music event formats, students together with Hannah Baumann, Franziska Hiller and Johannes Worms have created a number of pop-up performances in relation to this year’s festival theme, Images of men: heroes, rulers, heartbreakers: at the venues in question, where do we see traces of (antiquated) images of men and what do they reveal about our view of them today? A music-themed stroll through the city. The starting and end point is the kiosk hr.fleischer am Reileck. From there, we go to TEKİEZ, Pierre Grasse and Format Filmkunst e. V., where there will be further performances. The event closes with a discussion at the kiosk. The collective is the event’s presenter and guide.
