Museum and library of the Handel House are open

Your safety is important to us! That is why we have developed a hygiene concept for you based on the official requirements. This is constantly adapted to new developments. We therefore ask you to inform yourself about it regularly on this page.

The exhibitions in the Handel House are open to the public
Opening hours
Tuesday to Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

A brief closure of the museum for disinfection will take place between 1.30 and 2 pm.

Please observe the valid hygiene and distance rules when visiting our museum. The visit is only possible with a 2G (vaccinated - recovered) proof in connection with an official photo ID. Wearing a medical mouth and nose protection is obligatory in the entire museum area.

Personal guided tours take place by appointment. The 3G-Rule (Vaccinated - Tested - Recovered) applies for all guided tours. Please contact us at 0345/500 90 103.

Please observe the measures currently required on site:
- Please keep at least a distance of 1.5 m from other people.
- Wearing a medical mouth/nose protection (OP/FFP2 mask) is obligatory for persons 6 years and older.
- Please disinfect your hands at the museum entrance and in the toilets. Dispensers are available for this purpose.

Events in the Handel House The 2G rule (vaccinated - recovered) applies to all events. Visitors must present appropriate proof in conjunction with an official photo ID. Wearing a medical mouth and nose protection is obligatory at the entire event.

The library of the Stiftung Händel-Haus is open to the public.

The Wilhelm-Friedemann-Bach-Haus will remain closed for the time being.
