Notes on purchased tickets for the Handel Festival 2021

Dear visitors and friends of the Handel Festival,

Unfortunately, the Handel Festival Halle (Saale) 2021 had to be cancelled again this year due to the COVID 19 pandemic. As in the previous year, ticket refunds for purchased tickets to the 2021 Festival will be made directly and exclusively by the Handel House Foundation.
Upon request, you will be refunded the value of your already purchased tickets minus a 10% advance booking fee charged by the box offices. According to legal requirements and examination of the state authorities, the Händel-Haus Foundation is unfortunately not able to refund this and other additional costs.
Should you decide to make a donation or partial donation in favor of the future organization of the Halle (Saale) Handel Festival 2022 and onwards, you will of course receive a donation receipt for the amount donated.
Please note: The refund application can only be processed if the original tickets are enclosed with the applications and are available to us. This also applies to the receipt of a donation receipt. Please only use the form for the 2021 Festival.

Reimbursement will be made by bank transfer only. A cash payment is unfortunately not possible.
Since processing will take time due to thousands of tickets, we sincerely ask for your patience and understanding if processing takes time. In any case, we will process your requests as quickly as possible.

Notes on purchased tickets for the Handel Festival 2020

Dear visitors* of the Handel Festival,

Tickets for the cancelled Handel Festival 2020 can be submitted to the Handel House Foundation under the following options:
1. you donate your tickets or part of them for the benefit of the future organization of the Handel Festival Halle (Saale). You will of course receive a donation receipt for the amount donated.
2. if you wish, you will receive a refund of the value of the tickets you have already purchased, minus a 10% advance booking fee charged by the box offices. According to legal requirements and examination by the state authorities, the Handel House Foundation is unfortunately unable to refund this and other additional costs.
