With their unique programmes, Lautten Compagney Berlin never fail to delight audiences: their original ideas and emotion-filled interpretations based on historical models make this Berlin-based ensemble, who play on period instruments and are the winners of an ECHO Klassik award, one of the leading Baroque orchestras. For their impressive ideas and recordings, the musicians won an Opus Klassik award in 2019, to name just one example. In 2020, in a new concert programme with Daniel Behle, they will be “sketching” musical pictures and landscapes. With this internationally renowned singer, who made his debut in 2017 at the Bayreuth Festival and never fails to inspire with his “wonderfully bright and elegantly agile tenor voice” (BR Klassik, July 2017), they will perform moving Handel arias and instrumental music on the theme “Enjoy the sweet Elysian Grove”.
