Experience the Handel Day once again

On Saturday, 6 June 2020, the Handel House Foundation celebrated a major Handel Festival in the birthplace of the famous baroque composer. Following the cancellation of the Handel Festival due to the Corona Pandemic, there were online performances of internationally celebrated and top-class stars of Baroque music, such as the countertenor and Handel Prize winner 2020 Valer Sabadus, the versatile tenor Daniel Behle, the bass baritone Andreas Wolf, the Lautten Compagney Berlin under the musical direction of Wolfgang Katschner, the Pera Ensemble with Mehmet C. Yeşilçay, the G.A.P.- Ensemble under the direction of Emilio Percan, the Classical Crossover specialist from "Bridges to Classics" Bernd Ruf and musicians from the German Pops Band and Singers and other artists to experience a multi-faceted Handel Festival programme from 4.00 p.m. to around 10.00 p.m. It was supplemented by various live circuits to Krakow, Prague, Italy, London, Göttingen and Karlsruhe.  Clemens Birnbaum, Director of the Handel House Foundation and Director of the Handel Festival, and MDR cultural presenter Grit Schulze!
