This concert focuses on Handel’s early period in Rome, when he absorbed and assimilated in particular impressions of Italian opera and cantata. We will be hearing two cantatas from this period and one trio sonata. This charming programme is brought to you by the soprano Stefanie True and the 17th and 18th century music specialists, the Dutch ensemble La Sfera Armoniosa. These internationally known musicians promise an impressive concert experience.
